OPEN INNOVATIONS FORUM 2019: LEAP FORWARD TO INTELLIGENT ECONOMY

From 21 to 23 of October, the Skolkovo Innovation Center will host the eighth Open Innovations Moscow International Forum, the country's main annual event in the field of technological entrepreneurship.

The Open Innovations Forum has become the country's central discussion platform for entrepreneurs and professionals from around the world. Businessmen, scientists, students, leading experts, representatives of government and corporations from different countries and regions attend thematic sessions, plenary sessions, exhibitions, seminars and workshops, arrange business meetings without being distracted from the main program.

“Technological progress is changing not only economic ties. Under the influence of technology, people are evolving as well. The catalyst for the process becomes connectivity, a new level and quality of horizontal connections between people, groups, communities, societies around the world. That is why the theme of the eighth Open Innovations Forum is “The Digital Nation. Leap Forward to Intelligent Economy'. The three-day program is built around a study of three intersecting areas: Digital Human, Intelligent Economy, and Futuretech. The best speakers, leading experts, the most prominent representatives of the entrepreneurial and business community will share their knowledge and experience,” says Ekaterina Inozemtseva, CEO of the Skolkovo Forum.

Among the unique experts who confirmed their participation in Open Innovations 2019 are Joe Barkai, an analyst and consultant, speaker, blogger, author of "The Outcome Economy: How the Industrial Internet of Things is Transforming Every Business" and Alexis Horowitz–Burdick, CEO of LEGO Ventures, Master of Political Science at San Francisco State University, Former CEO of Sephora Southeast Asia.

Like last year, the Forum will show a wide range of high-tech solutions created by Russian startups with the support of development institutions. More than two hundred companies will present their latest developments.

The thematic events of partners will be held at Open Innovations:

• Russian Forum on Artificial Intelligence;

• Russian-Korean Forum on Information and Computer Technologies in conjunction with the Ministry of Digital Development, Telecommunications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation;

• IV Congress of organizations of innovative infrastructure to support small and medium enterprises;

• Telemedical forum dedicated to healthcare digitalization and medical equipment innovation.
