WIRED UK FOUNDER DAVID ROWAN TO OPEN PRESENTATION OF MOSCOW INNOVATION CLUSTER AT “OPEN INNOVATIONS” FORUM
On October 21 David Rowan, the Founding Editor-in-Chief of Wired UK, will open the presentation of the Moscow Innovation Cluster at the “Open Innovations” international forum.
Prominent journalist and expert in the field of digital transformation David Rowan founded the UK edition of the iconic science and technology magazine Wired and up until 2017 served as its Editor-in-Chief. Over the last year he has been studying the rise of technological agglomerations phenomenon and the intensive development of platform-based solutions.
In his speech at the “Open Innovations” forum David Rowan is going to underline development possibilities in the realm of technological entrepreneurship, noting the importance of the “Moscow Innovation Cluster” project. “I think in Russia there has already been created an entrepreneurial ecosystem, serving as an incentive for people to take risks and create the technology companies necessary to build a new future”, – Rowan says.
“It is a great honor for us to see David among cluster presentation participants at the “Open Innovations” forum. We value his expert opinion regarding the development of technological centers. It possesses a special significance in the context of actualizing our project,” – commented Head of the Moscow Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Development Aleksey Fursin.
