Yaroslav graduated from Saint-Petersburg State University in 2001. At the beginning of the career, he worked in Microsoft, USA. After that, he was invited to become a CTO in SPB Software. After Yandex acquired SPB Software, Yaroslav worked as Head of Mobile Platforms department. After leaving Yandex founded FaceApp and became its CEO.
