About speaker

MD, PhD, IOC Sport Medicine Diploma, is Director of Sport Science in Russian Olympic committee Innovation center where her role involves service provision, education and scientific research in elite athletes. Irina began her work with elite athletes during her PhD and since worked alongside with athletes in applied science across different sports including speed skating, triathlon, cycling, basketball, tennis, swimming, technical sports and freediving. She has a PhD in Exercise Physiology and has been involved in conducting research into the areas of altitude training, environmental physiology, muscle response to aerobic exercise and travel fatigue.
