James is one of the founders, and Chief Product Officer, of JUUL Labs - a leading global company developing electronic nicotine delivery systems.

Included with co-founder Adam Bowen in the 2019 TIME Magazine list of the world’s 100 most influential people, James has over 15 years of experience developing consumer products and an MFA in Product Design from Stanford University, where he first presented a graduate thesis alongside Adam Bowen, which set out their mission to improve the lives of the world’s one billion adult smokers.

Since launching in 2015, JUUL Labs’ products have helped adult smokers make the switch from combustible cigarettes, with its products now sold in countries across the globe.
