Dmitry Peskov was born on December 26, 1975 in Voronezh.
In 1998, he graduated from Voronezh State University, in 1999 he graduated from the political science department of the Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences and UM Manchester.
In 2009, he headed the strategic development department of the All-Russian Exhibition Center State Joint-Stock Company. In 2011, he was appointed Director of the Young Professionals Division of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives. In March 2019, he headed the ANO "Platform of the National Technology Initiative".
Dmitry Peskov is co-developer of the National Technological Initiative integrated program for creating conditions for ensuring leadership of Russian companies in new high-tech markets; author of the Digital Economy model; head of the Human Resources and Education group in the Digital Economy program; author of the program "Global Education".
On July 10, 2018, he was appointed Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in Digital and Technological development.
