Born on July 21, 1982, in Moscow.
In 2004, he graduated from the magistracy in economics of the Higher School of Economics.
From April 2002 to June 2006, he served in various capacities at the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, and from June 2006 to July 2010 at OAO “ROSBANK”.
In July 2010, he became Head of Russia and CIS Analytical Unit at ZAO “Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank”.
Between June 2012 and August 2013, he was Chief Economist on Russia at ZAO “VTB Capital”.
In September 2013, he joined the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation as Director of the Long-Term Strategic Planning Department.
In March 2015, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Finance of the Russian Federation.
Since November 30, 2016, he is the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
