Gert Jonk leads the global vertical sales organization and addresses the five ALE strategic industries -Government, Hospitality, Education, Healthcare and Transportation and the BRICSA Growth countries (China, India, Russia, Brazil, South Afrika)
Gert has been instrumental in transforming the team into industry specialists, helping them to deliver consistent and sustainable growth through an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the industries. With his guidance, the team has excelled in advising customers on how to best implement the digital transformation process to ensure they get the most out of their technology allowing customers to develop a real competitive advantage with it. Gert also works with ALE marketing and product development to build solutions for each industry based on the market requirements captured by the global vertical sales organizations.
Gert holds a Bachelor degree in Marketing and has over 25 years of sales management experience in the telecom industry. Prior to joining ALE as a channel manager and growing his skills to his current position as Senior Vice President of Vertical Sales, Gert’s past work includes sales with Telenorma (Avaya), management of indirect partners at Proximus, and sales at Scarlet and Versatel.
